Fair Play
Anti-x-ray protection
Wyldmere runs server-side anti-x-ray protection at all times. Valuable ore is hidden from rendering until it’s legitimately exposed — meaning a player actually mined, dug, or otherwise uncovered it through normal play. X-ray texture packs and similar tools simply don’t work here; there’s nothing to see through the walls in the first place.
This isn’t optional or something you can turn off client-side — it’s enforced by the server, so the person mining next to you is finding ore the same way you are.
Why it matters
Fair access to resources is a big part of what keeps a survival economy — like Wyldmere’s tiered pricing — meaningful. If ore were easy to cheat for, manual mining wouldn’t be worth the premium it’s supposed to pay.
