Crates & Keys

Finding crates

Crates are physical blocks placed around the server — you’ll find them out in the world or around spawn. To open one, you need a matching key.

Basic Crate

Key price: $5,000

Odds skew heavily toward safe, common rewards:

  • 85% — common animal spawners
  • 12.5% — uncommon mob spawners
  • 2.5% — rare mob spawners

Advanced Crate

Key price: $15,000

A pricier key with a tougher, more rewarding pool:

  • Weighted toward stronger mob spawners than the Basic crate
  • Up to a 2.5% chance at a genuinely rare spawner reward, like an Iron Golem or Shulker

Cosmetic Crate

Key price: $8,000

Doesn’t hold gear or spawners — every prize is a Title Token, a physical item you right-click to unlock a chat title that displays before your name. Rarity ranges from common titles you’ll see often up to a couple of genuinely rare ones. See Chat Titles for the full list and how redemption works.

Vote Crate

Not for sale — you earn this one.

Voting for Wyldmere on the server-listing sites linked through /vote earns you a Vote Crate key every time, no cooldown. Its pool skews more generous than the purchasable crates:

  • ~14% each across seven common prizes — diamonds, cash, iron, and a handful of useful spawn eggs
  • ~0.5% each across four rare prizes — a Netherite Ingot, a Trident, a Skeleton Spawner, and a rare chat title that doubles as a live ad for voting every time you talk

Voting takes a minute and directly helps the server grow, so it’s worth making a habit of.

Is it worth it?

Crate keys are a money sink for players who’ve already got a solid income going — a way to gamble spare cash from selling and trading for a spawner that could set up a long-term grind (an Iron Golem or Shulker spawner in particular can be a serious economic upgrade). If you’re just starting out, you’re usually better off saving toward gear or land upkeep first.
