Player Shops

Setting up a shop

You can turn any chest on your own claimed land into a fully automated shop:

1. Place a chest on land you own (it needs to be inside your claim).
2. Hold the item you want to buy or sell.
3. Shift-right-click the chest.

A sign showing the item and price appears on the chest automatically — no separate sign-writing step needed.

How other players use it

Other players interact with your shop through the sign: a menu pops up letting them buy from or sell to your chest directly, no need for you to be online. Stock (and payment) moves in and out of the chest automatically as trades happen.

Managing your shop

As the owner, you get your own control panel for the shop — from there you can restock, adjust the price, or shut it down without breaking the setup and starting over.

Why run one

Chest shops are the easiest way to sell directly to other players without competing on the auction house or waiting for someone to want exactly what you’re selling right now — good for a home base storefront that trades while you’re off doing something else.
